About Me

My name is Nathalie. You may know me as Rocca(nna) Raven, Rhynn

Collins, or Akasha. I’m eighteen years of age, which will change the 27th

of February 2009. I’m proud to be able to call myself a woman, and I live in The

Netherlands. I’m a wiccan and high priestess of a coven.

I have created this website to be able to show the world who I am and what I do. Well then, what

do I do?

Well, I do quite a lot. I draw, I design, I take pictures, I write, I film. I live. I am.

Drawing is something I’ve done for as long as I can remember. When other kids were busy playing

all day, I’d be playing for a little while before walking off and start drawing something. Back then it

were mostly stick-like figures with huge belly-buttons, but my drawings have grown along with me.

It’s a little bit more realistic nowadays.

Quite some years ago, when I learned how to use a computer, I started learning how to create

things on a computer. So I learned a completely new way of expressing my creativity, though it

was still very close to what I already knew. At first I thought I didn’t need fancy things like

Photoshop; I thought they were far too complicated. I used MS Paint, while my older brother

learned how to use Photoshop.

And then I saw what he did with it. And I wanted to do the same. So I  learned how to use

Photoshop. And now, I can create quite nice looking things in it, even if I say so myself. The layout

of this website, for example, has been created using Photoshop.

My father is a photographer, and has been for as long as I can remember. Having lived in the same

house as him for all my life, he naturally transferred some of his knowledge onto me and my

brother. I like picking up a camera and taking pictures of everything I find interesting. Occasionally

I take a picture I like, and then I keep it.

When I started high school, I got interested in reading fantasy books. I envied the writers for being

able to create completely new worlds and letting the reader feel like he is in that world as he reads

the book. I wanted to be able to do the same... and so I did. I took up the pen and just started

writing. I created parts of worlds, connected the parts, and created new parts.

Several worlds are floating around in my mind continuously, waiting to be discovered, wanting to

be made into reality.

Some time ago, I had to make a short film for school. I somehow found myself being very

enthusiastic about it and was instantly filled with ideas. I discovered how much I like filming. At the

moment I don’t film that much, but I know I will take up the camera again in the future.

I have recently discovered the art of making animations. I’ve made one for school before, called

“Licht” (Dutch for “ Light”). And recently some friends had to make an animation for school and

they asked me to help them. That spurred my enthusiasm for animation again, so I’ve started

making a new animation, with working title “ The Scarecrow”. It’s about a scarecrow, in case you

hadn’t noticed.

About Triple Rainbow

One boring, grey day, when I was home alone with my mother, it was raining really hard.

However, the sun was shining too. We knew we would be able to see a rainbow, and since they are

always really pretty, we started looking out for them. We saw one above the house across the

street. Then my eye fell upon another one directly above it, as if the rainbow was repeating itself.

It was a double rainbow. Now we wanted to see if there were maybe some more. And nature didn’t

let us down: a little below the first one we had seen, there was another one. Is wasn’t very clear,

but it was there. I said: “Wow, it’s a triple rainbow!” My mom said she thought Triple Rainbow was

the perfect name for my company, which I would surely have some time in the future. I agreed,

and then my mother had the great idea of making sure the domain name would be mine, before

someone else had taken it. So I registered a domain name.

But then I though: Hey, I’ve got the domain, I’ve wanted a website for quite some time now, so

why not make it? I’m sure I can fill it with some interesting stuff...

And here we are. The first version of the website was pretty boring to look at, even though it has

been up for about half a year. I’m quite proud of this version, even though Im sure I will change it

again somewhere in the future. That’s just what I’m like: I need change.

I’ve recently added a forum for Triple Rainbow. I created it as a forum to experiment with, so that

will change from time to time too. Just the looks and the scripts though, I will not delete members

unless there is a really, really good reason for it. Feel free to take a look and join in the

discussions. Even if it’s rather dead, I will check the forum just about daily, so you will always get

some kind of response. If the board’s online, you’ll be able to have fun there.

That’s about all I can tell about Triple Rainbow for now. If you would like me to make something for

you, contact me. The contact information is just below here.
