Here’s a list of websites I visit regularly or find useful. I’ve also listed the

                                                websites of my family.

                                Family

Roeland van Basten Batenburg is my father. He’s a photographer and his photo’s are well worth checking out.

Sean van Basten Batenburg is my older brother. His website is called Darein.eu. It’s a bit empty at the moment, but he’ll probably add some content soon...

Forums

Can’t Stop the Message is something some friends of mine came up with. It’s a little bit too complicated to fully explain the concept here, but we’ve given a good explanation on the forums. It doesn’t have an active community right now, but you can help change that! So, if you’re curious about The Message, don’t hesitate to check it out!

Anderland is a bookshop I’ve worked at for a little while. Their forum is small, but very active and fun. It’s Dutch, but there’s an English part waiting to grow! You don’t necessarily have to know the bookshop to be able to have fun at the forums, so go and have fun!

Webcomics

Little gamers is a webcomic about a bunch of gamers living together. I know it sounds really boring when I say it like this, but it’s actually really funny.

Megatokyo is one of the biggest webcomics out there. Everyone who regularly reads webcomics, should at least know it.

Megatokyo is a webcomic ablout two gamers who somehow and up in Japan without any money and have to get back. Enter a robotgirl and the stage is set!

Applegeeks belongs in the same category as Megatokyo. The art is amazing and the story isn’t too bad either. I don’t really have much to say about it, so go and take a look!

Other

If you’re interested in knowing what music I listen to, check out my Last.fm page. Not everything I listen to is scrobbled, but most of it is, so it’s a good image of my music tastes. If you’re also a member, leave me a note!

Brackenwood is the home of Bitey and numerous other creatures. It’s a series of very beautiful flash movies. The creator has also made some other movies and stories which are well worth checking out. He has even created his own language, Sarus, which I started learning a while ago. I don’t remember much of it though, but I might pick it up again in the future.

If you would like to see your site added to this list, send me an e-mail with the url of your website so I can check it out. I do want a link back on your page though, so if you’re not willing to add my link on your site, don’t even bother. You can find my contact information at the bottom of the About page.
